Mercedes Benz unveiled a new smart car (Vision AVATAR) that has driven through ‘mind control’ that lets you operate a car with your THOUGHTS – but you need to wear a ‘Smart Helmet’
Mercedes-Benz is setting another milestone in the merging of man and machine," said Mercedes' Britta Seeger.
The concept was built by Mercedes-Benz and is currently on display at IAA Mobility 2021. If you happen to be in Germany, we suggest you check it out for sure.
The technology is known as Vision AVTR, and is the company’s futuristic goal on screen like never before. Like most concept cars, the car has no steering wheel, and it comes with flexible wheels that can move sideways.
Essentially, the concept car would allow human thoughts to radiate onto the car’s digital dashboard. With the help of a brain-computer interface (BCI), your directions will be transferred to the car without touching bulky screens or pressing buttons.
