According to Canalys, Google Cloud edged out cloud rivals to see largest growth in Q2
Google's cloud services showed an annual increase of 45% as the total cost of cloud services worldwide reached $62.3 billion.
According to the data, the Google platform accounted for 8% of the overall cloud infrastructure services spend during the quarter, reinforcing its position in the top three but remaining some distance behind rivals AWS (31%) and Microsoft Azure (24%).
Microsoft Azure grew by 40% during the same period last year, while market leader AWS experienced yearly growth of 33%.
